A tele-rehabilitation system for remote physical therapy

In the rapidly evolving landscape of tele-health, our system introduces a transformative
approach to remote physical therapy for elderly patients.This project describes the deployment
of a novel tele-rehabilitation system that enables healthcare providers to administer precise
physical therapy gestures to patients in the comfort of their own homes.The system integrates
three pivotal components: a gesture recognition module that captures and interprets the
therapist’s movements, an actuator module equipped with motors and a computing unit for
replicating the gestures, and a comprehensive safety system that monitors patient responses
to prevent over exertion and injury. With an emphasis on real-time interaction and patient
safety, our system facilitates a more engaging, effective, and secure therapeutic experience.
